NEUTRAL LOAD CALCULATOR
Compute the maximum unbalanced load on the service or feeder neutral conductor per NEC 220.61. Allows neutral downsizing where permitted, which can save significant conductor cost on large services.

WHAT THIS TOOL WILL CALCULATE
- 01Input: total service or feeder amperage, voltage system (120/240V split-phase, 208Y/120V wye, 480Y/277V wye)
- 02Output: maximum unbalanced neutral load, recommended neutral conductor size per NEC 220.61
- 03Applies the 70% reduction for the portion above 200A on 3-wire DC and 1Φ/3Φ services with line-to-neutral loads
- 04Handles the non-reducing scenarios (non-linear loads, 3-phase wye with significant single-phase loads)
